      糖原又名肝糖,储藏于肝细胞或肌细胞浆中,其形状为大小不等的颗粒,遇碘则变褐色,分子量在2·7×105到3·5×106之间。它是由葡萄吡喃糖组成的带有支链的高分子多糖。溶于水但溶液不透明，不溶于醇，不能还原费林(H·von Fehling)试剂。255℃时分解。存在于肝和肌肉中，也存在于昆虫及低等植物中。用于生物化学及有机化学研究。可由肝脏用30％氢氧化钠处理，再加乙醇沉淀而制得
