用途：生化研究。生物染色剂。可用于制作血液涂片检查寄生性原生动物，如疟原虫、锥虫(trypanosomes)；对致病性螺旋体(如Leptospira，Borrelia等)、病毒、立克次氏体、过氧化酶、染色体等染色；也可应用于组织培养研究和试剂。
