用途：脱氢酶和其它过氧化酶的底物。用于测定葡萄糖-6-磷酸脱氢酶（glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase）；也是凝血因子I（fibrinogen）的沉淀试剂。
也是碱性磷酸酶底物之一，在碱性磷酸酶的催化下生成不溶性的蓝色产物。常用于免疫组化(IHC)、免疫细胞化学(ICC)和蛋白印迹(WB)等实验。
