介绍： 溶与水和松节油，难溶于乙醇。在33℃以上的干燥空气中风化，在48℃分解，灼烧则分解为硫化钠和硫酸钠。水溶液呈弱碱性反应。遇强酸分解并析出硫和二氧化硫。

用途： 色层分析试剂，点滴分析测定钴、照相定影剂，除氯剂容量分析常用试剂，测定血钠，制备注射液及双糖铁尿素培养基，媒染剂。

敏感性： 易溶于水，水溶液近中性。溶于松节油及氨。不溶于醇。
