介绍： 有果香。微溶于水，溶解度: 10.3 g/l 水(20°C) ，溶于甲醇、苯、环己烷和乙酸乙酯。

用途： 用于合成香料和医药品。在医药工业中是中枢骨骼肌松弛剂强筋松的中间体。 作为化妆品中防腐剂,3-苯丙醇带有对细菌和霉菌抗菌性能的自然香味。因此用在与胡椒醛或胡椒的组合作为化妆品的防腐剂。 3-苯丙醇或其酯衍生物被用作鲜花的香味成分,如丁香花，风信子，以及由于其具有香醋气味特征也作为铃兰的组成部分。
