用途： 导电性复合材料。用二硼化钛（ TiB2）和氮化硼（ BN ）制作导电氮化硼（蒸发舟）是真空镀铝设备的主要构件。陶瓷切削工具及其部件。制造二硼化钛陶瓷用于拉丝模、挤压模、喷砂嘴、密封元件、切削工具等。复合陶瓷材料。可作为多元复合材料的重要组元，二硼化钛可与 TiC ， TiN ， SiC 等材料组成切削工具的复合材料，还可作为一种组分制作装甲防护材料，是各种而高温件、功能器件的最好材料。 铝电解阴极材料。用作铝电解槽阴极材料，由于 TiB2与金属铝液良好的润湿性使电解铝的耗电量降低，电解槽寿命延长
