介绍： 溶于加热的溴酸钾溶液，微溶于酸类的碱类，几乎不溶于水、乙醇和丙酮。有刺激性。。有金属光泽。对光、大气、高温及二氧化硫和硫化氢等腐蚀性气体均极稳定。有很高的遮盖力，具有磁性。灼热时变棕色，冷后仍变为绿色。结晶体极硬。性极稳定，即使在红热下通入氢气亦无变化。有刺激性。

用途： 用作冶炼金属铬, 碳化铬, 制抛光膏和油漆颜料; 也用作搪瓷, 玻璃,有机及无机反应催化剂，折光材料，着色玻璃，磨料。
