用途：比色法测定血糖、蛋白质、酚、砷、铅、铋等。生物碱检验。石油工业催化剂。钼盐、钼合金的制造。五氧化二磷、三氧化二砷、双氧水、酚和醇类的还原剂。高纯三氧化钼用于还原钼粉，裂变催化剂、加氢催化剂、颜料、陶瓷和玻璃的生产。
