介绍：质重而坚硬，味咸而苦，在空气中稳定。1g溶于8·3ml水、4ml沸水、75ml甘油，不溶于乙醇。氯化钾、硫酸铵可以增加其水中的溶解度，水溶液呈中性,pH约为7。

溶解性：微溶于水和甘油,不溶于乙醇，水溶液呈中性。几乎不溶于硫酸铵的饱和溶液。

用途：血清蛋白生化检验，测定血钾及其他钾盐，凯氏定氮用催化剂，制备其他钾盐。氨基葡萄糖硫酸盐专用、医药保健品、化学试剂。
